Apparently we are all taking a nice depth breath, sipping on our daiquiri's, fiddling with the metaleague (in some cases) and enjoying our recent victory in taking back the #1 spot from the HCH. Not a bad life!!!
I know I promised to make my next game a follow along game over in on the
Galactic Core. I think I might be up for starting that in the next week or two. Large suicidal, using the same custom race I used for my mega game seems like the best candidate to me, especially since I might be a touch cold after a two month break. I was thinking about simply posting a turn one game file and then try to save out game files at critical (decision points) as I go through it, explaining why I think it's a turning point and what I plan to do about it. Still debating with myself whether I should try a no limits, use every sleazy/dirty trick I know, riding the knifes edge game, or show some self restraint. This actually does affect how I play a bit. Your input would be appreciated! Hopefully, seeing my play style might open up some playing possibilities for everyone else. I certainly know that getting a feel for what the other players were doing in the various threads, here and, especially, at our private forums, helped my game out. I also know that playing out part of a game that Qestraal was struggling with is one of the most fun GC II things I have done.
