Phantom: I have to see Star Wars Ep. III because I've invested 28 years of my life in being a fan of the original. But, George Lucas seems to be a lot better at creating ideas, not creating compelling dialogue. I am looking forward to the showdown between Anikan and Obi-Wan, and to see how they end up having such a falling out as to turn Anikan over to the dark side. My guess is that Amidala is the catalyst for their split in their relationship, but that's not that difficult to presume. Bale is the only thing that made Newsies even watchable, although Swing Kids seemed pretty similar in response. I haven't seen equilibrium yet... I can't find a video store around that carries it. I think that you are wrong about Jean Grey. If she gets signed, I'd expect a much bigger role because of the Phoenix storyline. And Pyro? Definitely. It'd be great to see him and Iceman go up against each other. I read somewhere that Shawn Ashmore (Iceman) said that they talked about creating the ice-slide for Iceman in the 2nd movie and couldn't do it due to expenses and timing. He speculated about the possibilities of it happening for the 3rd movie. Plus, they still have an unused Danger Room set that was supposed to feature Wolverine. Bring it on!

You clutz!!!
I feel like I'm babysitting except I'm not getting paid.
I didn't mind the second Potter movie or Return of the King. The second Potter movie would have been a lot better without Rupert Grint's/Ron Weasley's annoying facial expressions. RotK would have been better if it had of stuck to the plot in the book. Yes, I know we'll see a big chunk of missing stuff in the Super Platinum Extended Director's Cut Aniversary DVD, but man, to go from Eowyn being mightily in love with Aragorn and then just dumping her beside loser Faramir... I would have felt better if neither of them made it to the joint crowning/reunion. And I was looking forward to seeing Hobbiton take a beating from Saruman, and then see his ass-whooping by the hobbits. Where'd that go? But Legolas' surfer slide after taking down the Oliphant just rocked. Even though it was kinda cheesy. "That still just counts as one!"
I could go on and on about many of the movies that I listed, but that's just the reason why I get so into the hype. Movies for me, don't end with the credits. I watch the good ones over and over, and find out stuff that I might have missed previously. If it so inspires me I do a little searching for more info on the net. And there's just another little addiction of mine.
