Ahahahah... i laugh at the fact that you used Intelligent and president in the same sentance.

The real power lies in Congress, the presidency has only gained more power than Congress during the Jacksonian Era, and the Progressive Era, read your history   

As for power over war, the president does have the right to send troops to any place he wishes to. But, to make a war a real war, Congress must approve a declaration. Otherwise, its just a millitary monuever.

Thank you for once admitting something. Why do you think companies are giving away jobs to other countries.

One reason, their people will do the same stuff our citizens will, but for a lot less(Asia + CA). Or they are actually more qualified (europe).

I have actually seen some of the world, and I like it better out there. People are actually friendly, even if they dont know you.

yes

actually jobs are not going to Europe (more qualified my ass), Europe isn't absorbing the jobs. they are just creating more companies and internalizing their market, making profits more difficult for us to make in the system. China, on the other hand, is taking our undereducated jobs.

I still think that the European system is better. My only reason being is that I am still relearning things here only after 5 years there.

we aren't loosing those. if anything we are still gaining these.
I still think that the European system is better. My only reason being is that I am still relearning things here only after 5 years there

and the same thing would have happened in reverse.
why? because they teach differently there. we teach more in depth and specific whereas (from what I heard) Europe teaches broadly and with a larger emphasis on the social studies and intricacies of language

neither one truly produces better results, they just produce different results.

math is a complex subject. there are a thousand ways to teach one thing. there isn't any surprise here.
And no duh they have to emphasise on language, the continent is more divided than this one

EU inbinding, immigration and population growth
and I dont see 4.5% unemp a huge issue (its not the educated jobs that we're losing)
why is it that perfectly qualified citizens have to find jobs that are completely different from what they were educated for.

I'm saying thats not happening for the most part. I haven't heard of this anywhere, except with your single testament.
this would be front row center of every news outlet if it was an issue.

math is a complex interweaving and MASSIVE subject, there are many many different ways that vary not just from country to country, but from school to school. there is no surprise that your relearning things, if you WERENT relearning things I would depressed at the state of affairs in EU, because you would have an elementary school education at best.

and if so was true, why do we have Princeton MIT and Caltech? they're the best schools in the world.

I mean, just look at this list

2 of the top 10 are UK (rest are US) and the US dominancy extends a good bit down the line

Um duh, lets see the UK only needs to support 50 million people, you guys have to educate 300 million. I think that their 2 to your 8 is actually quite an equal ratio.

As for math, its the same throught the world. DeMorgans laws are still DeMorgans laws, the fact that a hyperbola is infinite doesnt change just because it was drawn in France. Sure there a multitudes of ways to teach it but usually you learn the same thing, in the same way, the only differance I have every seen were terms and letters.

I'm not saying that the EU has an issue with unemployment, its only got issues slightly larger than ours

and its not "8/2" its something more like "8/14" which comes out about equal, with a slight bit more unemployment in EU.
Unemployment rates note how most of the EU's countries are below americas

also note that a certain unemployment rate (around 4.5%) is healthy for a growing, capitalist economy.

Sure there a multitudes of ways to teach it but usually you learn the same thing, in the same way, the only differance I have every seen were terms and letters.

Your arguement is bunk, in every school you cross over past material in every year so that you can pass on to the next. as for "learning the same things" yes, you learn the same things. but you dont learn all the same things. if you think math can be done linearly, with everyone following the same exact pathway, like learning history from past time A to present time B than you are wrong in so many ways.

Sure this system has its benifits, and I like the amount of choice it gives me. But, I do think that some of it still needs refiment.

One thing this country is doing is setting more requirements. This is the wrong way to go. I mean sure you need science and math, but what happens to those without any interest in the subject. What happens to those who arent good enough. They fail, and then they become societies problem.

I wasnt talking about mass starvation, just starvation. Ever been to Africa?

What genocide?
How about the one in Darfur right now. See what I really dont get is how this supposedly great country goes back on its promises. You guys promised that no more genocide would occur as long as you remained a world power. And now you are letting a government with an economy smaller than that of Vermont kill hundreds of thousands of people and displace millions more.

You arent the most advanced. Your transportation system is becoming outdate, your public health care system is strugling, your government is becoming heavy with internal battles of greed. And oh yes, education and the fact that every single private company sells away their inventions to everyone, meaning your not much better than anyone else.
Trust me America is starting to become more of a rathole of greed, than a land of pormise

its not that I dislike the EU, of all things I think they are a great group of overidealized nations with a good philosophy behind them.
what I dont like is that they are non-practical, and that they are the jack of all trades, where as the US is the King of most.
