He mentions the name "Gene" at the beginning. I'm thinking it's a birthday greeting or something for Gene Roddenberry, creator of Star Trek.

Just an idea.

Please don't. I like finding all these strange, random and wonderful things. Plus, I have to keep watch and make sure I don't appear sans pants some day.

He is saying "Gene" isn't he! I thought it was "Gee" for some reason. Your reasoning makes much more sense than mine.

I trust someone on here would do it too... at least one of the ones who knows what I look like. As for being featured, well, we wouldn't want to scare off potential bloggers now do we? If they saw that on the front page, I'm sure they'd head for the hills.
