Memorial Day

Please keep in mind the Men and Women that served and died for their countries. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

I would also like to take this time to say thank you to all US Military forces here in the States and serving else where in the world. We truly owe our way of life to you. Thank you for everything you do.

I'd leave my mark in this thread, and on a certain poster

. but i have had my ass chewed by Kryo once for voicing my opinion on this disrespect of national holidays, in a most vocal way, so i'll just add that to anyone posting about how they don't care about days like memorial day and the like just remember. You have the right to say that you don't care because of the actions taken by those we remember on Memorial Day, Rememberance Day, ANZAC Day ect.ect.

Your freedom's of speech came at a hefty price, no matter where you live, it's not much to ask that for a few moment's a year we take the time to reflect and honour those brave souls.

Age shall not weary them or the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember them."

Our Anzac day memorial speech for Australia

I think it is interesting that at the same time we remember our lost soldiers, so do the countries that were our enemies. In particular i would draw attention to our Anzac day dawn ceremony in Turkey, and we pay respect to each others lost soldiers. There is no question of who was on the right side, we are just there to remember our lost soldiers who gave their lives fighting wright or wrong for what they believed was a just cause.

Ignore the terrorists and they'll go away??? May I ask a question? What planet are you from, because it certainly has different laws of reality than my home, the earth. I did get a good chuckle out of your utopian fantasies though. For that I thank you.

hehehe, well he does have a good point though... i mean if my car starts making a funny noise, all i have to do is turn up the volume of the music and yippee, no more problem!!!!
