Yahoo! Answers - Have eAmped forums closed down?Sounds like jewelry to me. My wife kept asking for a "large rock" on a "rope chain" to wear around her neck.
I have a funny story about jewelry that actually happened.
Back in the early 90's I worked at Digital Equipment Corp. in Maynard, Massachusetts in this gigantic old mill complex. There were over 5,000 employees that worked in that location alone. Needless to say the cafeteria for such a complex was rather large.
Anyway, one morning before work I was sitting in a booth in the cafeteria eating a breakfast sandwich when two young ladies sat down in the booth behind me and began to talk.
Apparently the 1st young woman had just given blood the previous evening. This was at the time that AIDS in the blood supply was becoming a concern and the Red Cross had just recently instituted a set of questions that they asked of every potential blood donor.
The 2nd woman asked what kind of questions they asked and the first responded "Have you ever exchanged sex for money?". The 2nd woman responded "Well, what did you say?" to which the first woman replied "Does jewelry count?".
I almost bit my tongue off trying to keep from laughing. Then they proceeded to have a very long conversation during which they both concluded that jewelry didn't count, which is a good thing, since otherwise there's probably not a woman on the planet that could donate blood.
