Just a quick Hi to everyone, I joined the Mod team early last week. Massive stargate fan. Already enjoyed working with Eomega in the last week and this is the first item I have mdae for the Mod. It's the Frigate Shipyard.

That model of Riser's is hopefully the first of many for the mod, it is an excellent model, and Im sure there is more to come.

Yes we have been working for over a year on this mod, mods take time, as you need to make models, textures, change ingame settings, the works.  I am not going to give an estimate on how long the mod will take till it is ready, by doing that people would expect it at the end of that time, and I dont feel like rushing to get the mod done, then it will be sloppy.  Sorry if you do not agree with this, but it is my personal opinion, and Im sure my team will stand behind me on this one.

They are great, as of right now, we dont need them, but I will let you know if we can use them in the future.

I'm new to this forum and the mod looks great so far.

Someone mentioned they will not be placing the ORI into it, thats a shame however I have a number of models relating to the ORI.

Doylnick said he had a plan to include the Ori in his mod some how, so i'm sure if you let him use them they'd be put to good use.

I know, I just wanted to point out that I'm sure he would appreciate the other models too.

I do agree that the ships seem overly powerfully... I hate that their little satellite destroyed the Prometheus!

You mean, like, in the actual ship construction area? In addition to the 'welding' effects, a ring burst to show parts being transported up into space?

I kind of like that idea. I'll see what EO thinks.

No need to discuss this further tbh.  Debating it wont get the Ori into the mod, but I will say one thing that bugs me about the asgard beam weapons taking out the Ori ships is this technology is shown only a year after the Battle at the Supergate, and the Asgard ship there was completly useless against the Ori, yes those werent Beam weapons, but pulses... but you still have to think, if their tech advanced that much in a year, why didnt they come help out the Milkyway sooner?  just a pet peeve I had about that episode of SG-1.  Now please, no more discussing the Ori, I have something much better planned, if we can get it to work.

After Watching Unending, they never said that they had just developed the Beam Weapons. Thor said that they were giving them all their current technology, And Thor had been working on the Upgrades for over a year due to them knowing that they were dying.  The Replicators were gone by the end of Season 8, both in the Milkyway and the Asgard Home Galaxy.
