New Metaverse Empire, Young Rulers Society.

Scince i started playing Galciv 2 in late 2006 i wandered if there were okids my age playing ths game. Scince October 27th i have been a part of the Galciv community, i found out i was the only 13 year old playing this game i decided to make a new meta empire were people under 18 can join. I wanted to see how many kids my age are playing this game.

Well FireBender is/was your age. It's tough to keep track, he may be 14 by now. Also TheGreatEmperor was your age but he must be at least 14 by now or even 15. Like I said it's tough to keep track.

There are a few but I'm not sure there's enough to make an empire out of. One thing that kids your age that play this game generally have in common is intelligence and a bit more maturity than most kids of that age. I say generally because there have been notable exceptions to this rule.

In any case the instant you let something like this go to your head it becomes not true.

Good luck with your empire, but you'll probably have more luck if you raise the age restriction a bit.

There are a few but I'm not sure there's enough to make an empire out of.

21 and under will give you a bigger pool of possible members, but don't underestimate the potential of a small but sturdy crew.

The Gerontocrats have only had 22 members ever, and only a couple of us have been posting games so far this year, but we are still #7 in the official Metaverse and #8 in the AltMeta. Even the top empires owe much of their status to the strength of their leading players, not the sheer number of members.

Besides, there's no rule about what an empire needs to be other than whatever the founder and members agree to. Someone could found The Ultimate Losers and throw out anyone who ever posted a win.

Best of luck to you and your empire SethPenguin. Be active in getting your name out there and you'll get people to join. There's a lot of people that have posted in the "How Old Are You" thread lately that would fit this empire's criteria. Maybe sending them a friendly PM asking them to join would be in order?
