Something also needs to be clarified: the Halcyon-class cruiser, according to the Halo story, is an old, uncommon, and expensive design. The Pillar of Autumn was specially equipped for its mission to the Covenant homeworld, and isn't a good representative of other ships of its class. Following what we know about the Halcyon, it wouldn't be good for much of anything, though it could be used to distribute ammunition (see below). In this mod, ammo should be a stat alongside antimatter, as well as one that branches into three categories: MAC shells, autocannon rounds, and missiles. In the Halo universe, many UNSC ships have all three, and missiles are the primary weapon against other conventional, unshielded ships (such as pirates). The Halcyon, being a class unsuited to the modern front lines, could be used as an unarmed ammo distributor for a larger fleet.
DUDE!!!! U really dont need to put so much detail(ammo), etc... If ur not goin to put Halcyon-Pillar Of Autumn Design then dont put it at all... making need for ammo to b replenished makes UNSC ships sitting ducks... the fleet will need more useless ships to put up with and it will b a waste....
Also ur idea of puttin pirates and then adding covenants in small numbers really makes the game boring.. Halo is basically the fight between the cov and UNSC.. the fight for survival..
I had said b4 tht UNSC has a very strong defence capability and the cov dont.. Covs r betr at attacking..
U also missed tht UNSC ships hav nukes and mines along side their normal weapons...
the ability to mine a place gives them stronger defence capability along side they hav orbital MAC...
whereas the covenant only has their ships....
This wud make the battles more balanced.
