Yup Viral beings are those whom haven't really got a form. Not like a shape shift they can spread their cells at the molecular level. Often the do this to infest something. Although there are very few viral races that exceed microscopic sizes.
Crystal entities exist. No one said that a living creature has to breath or cunsume food to exist. Aslong as it has a life forces within it sub-atomic structure anything can live. Rock beings, Crystal, Sand, Planets are even a life form.
