the game worked perfectly fine from the start. Considering how complex the game is, it is no surprise that the game may have some MINOR issues. The devs put out 6 patches in 6 months I believe - you should be ecstatic with how this game is developing.
I am happy with how the game itself plays, I'm not happy with how it works online. Considering that this game has no single player campaign, I think it's fair to say the multiplayer component should be a very important feature. It only works "perfectly fine" if you think playing against AI opponents over and over again is fun.
I don't know what game you've been playing, but my one has been working fine in every sense of the word. Quit over exaggerating.
Again, the sense of the word I refer to is that it doesn't work well online (minidumps are frustratingly common, and most people don't have the technical knowledge this game requires you to have in order to set up your ports to host games). We all agree this is a fun game, and yet
the fact that huge numbers of people have purchased this game has not led to more than ~100 people playing online at any given time worldwide. The reason why so few play online? It barely works. Simple as that. This isn't a minor issue, and I'm not exaggerating the numbers.
