hey all I'm new here and been a fan of demigod since I heard its name.
I think having a few game style is very immportant to keep the game alive and also more fun to play the game different from time to time than just kill the other one castle. so I made a list of game style I thought will match the game, some are more some are less.
just one thing- in order to make things even because the speed and power of the demigods I made up the capture unit which is a simple unit that hes abilitis to comlete the game mission.
The list:
Best destroyer- didn't found the right name. there is a statue or something in the middle and the goal is to cause him the most damage (to hit it and the game count how much damage you dealt to it so far) the first to have X damage dealt or the one with the most damage dealt when tims end out win.
The gold rush- there is a pile of gold (not the gold you use to buy items and stufs) in the midle of the map, lets say 500 gold and an empty room for gold in each player base. the goal is to end up with the most goal in your hand. you collect gold from the pile with the special capture unit which can hold 75 gold (just throwing numbers). you can also collect gold from another player gold stack. the gold that you collected is gathered in your own stack. the gold does not regenerate in the middle and there is alwase the same amount of gold from the begining to the end in all stack togather. the winner is the one with all gold or the one with the most gold in the end of time. if the capture unit is destroyd while having the gold its the gold stay in the place until somone reach it.
Capture the flag- the old game style we all know, which can be playd in 2 ways: 1. there is one or few flags in the middle 2. every player have a flag in his base. flags can be taken with the capture unit. the winner is the one with X captures or the on with most captures when time end. if the capture unit is desroyd while holding the flag it will returned to its place after 60 second unless a player capture it from there. (not the player which the flag belongs to him).
Invesion- the goal is to send as much units to the end of the opponent base. the units that get there spawn back to their base. each unit that got to there worth a point. demigods don't worth a point and don't spawn back. the winner is the one with X points or the one with most points when time end.
Capture- several capture node scatterd across the map and linked in a way. capture node that has a captured node in front of her in the formation of the links (both ownd by you) is locked and can't be captured. you capture a node etheir with the regular units or with the capture unit (I haven't desided what better). you can't capture a node while the opponent has an equal amount of units in the capture zone. the winner is the one with all nodes ownd or the one with most nodes ownd. can also be playd when there one node in the center and you have to own her for X time.
DeathMatch/team DeathMatch- the goal is to earn as much as points to win. you earn points by killing the opponent units. each unit you kill worth a different amount of points like minotaur=1, demigod=100 (can be change). the winner is the one with X points or the one with most points when time end. the same is with team deathmatch, just in teams.
