Choosing upgrades for your army.

Something I'd like to see is a shop where one can buy unit upgrades or extra spawning units for your army. In addition to the units that will spawn over time, I think it'd be fun if we could purchase different unit types instead of items. Or perhaps even upgrades for the regularly spawning units. Just a thought to add a bit more strategy and choice.

I believe we will have access to such features in upcoming BETA versions because from time to time you see messages in the top saying "units have been upgraded", "defenses have been upgraded".

BETA 1 is just a engine test, so i believe such features are set to auto with a timer, the longer you play, the more upgrades to units and structures you can see.

i believe this is the introduction of new units like priests angels giants etc. so thats already in and what you (starnerd) are talking about sounds like the general demigods which should be introduced in one of the upcoming betas

I think with taking escalation off a timer and adding generals to the game, you should be happy with the next beta.

I think Generals are going to be able to upgrade their minions weapons and armor.

I'm not sure though, but it'd make sense to so they just dont get 1hitted when your enemies are lvl 15.

This. I wonder if minions will gain in stats as their general does, in number, or in both? That's an important question.

I was wondering about this to, I hope the generals get better units all together than the assassin types.

So far it sounds like the units are just feed / hp shields and don't get a whole lot done, I'd like to hope that generals will be a different story!

Well hopefully the units will act rather dynamically with your skills and such rather than being some AI unit that simply attacks for you and adds to your DPS.
