Capturing Posts

I have a question and a comment about the flags in this game. The question is: What good is capturing the middle post? And the comment is that when you die, you actually continue to capture a point if you are capturing it when your alive.

Well Xan, when you capture the middle post, it gives your friendly spawns a little bonus in their speed. By the way, I have a question about capturing points, will friendly spawns capture points if their are no enemy spawns?

No, only Demigod's are able to capture flags.

The middle flag changes hands often in player games, as the faster units force the battle line towards the forts.

I also believe that the middle flag unlocks the artifact shop for that teams use.  Some tide changing items there.
