Bot/CPU players at beta

Is there any CPU player at beta? or will it be released soon or never? I read in the PCG September Issue preview that Demigod has a bot player, is that true? ive been rummaging around the forum and i cant see an answer....

Yes, you can play with/against AI players.

And they're surprisingly decent. The AI rook players have that near instapwn boulder stun to hammer slam combo down pat, it's really hard to beat. You can actually learn a few tricks from them, which is impressive to say the least for this early,
