1. When I was playing as the TB I died a number of times, but after I died it would still let me choose powers. They didnt work of course, but in the case of my fire rain that had the AoE circle, it allowed me to change my curcor to the circle and choose a location near me, and after a few secounds i dissapeared, but the circle stayed on the ground till I resed.

2. I know they did it this way, but I'm not always able to look at my stats after I die, sometimes the character picture is black and all the stats are black. Also I would like to be able to see my skill tree after death. When you are waiting to Rez is a great time to go over your stats and decide where you plan to take your demigod (power and item wise).
