Yes, best would be if players can choose if they want it or not. Just add it to the options, so you can turn it on/off.

Well I'm glad I'm not alone when it comes with the money ordeal. I can very well see my money constantly going up but it's hard to determine what. I've tried to see if getting last hit on the towers gives more gold but no luck

Hey, I'm all about the toggle ability, making the UI customizeable to what helps the player. I'm all for toggling gold gain icons on/off.
