[Wishlist] Sweet Items

I know it's dumb, imba, etc...but

This falls under the dumb wishlist/ thought experiment category:

Consider an item that can spawn Towers of Light. Make it insanely expensive, give it a stupid long cooldown, three use maximum, whatever. I want to make towers of lights as any demi, where I want them. While we're at it, give us items that do the following:

- generate creep spawns

- generate money trees

- generate wormholes (i.e. fixed 'port gates between two locations)

- generate buff totems (damage, attack speed, health, mana etc.)

- generate debuff totems

- generate lane bridges

- generate lane blockades

- summon dragons (don't even have to be nice dragons)

*If stun stays strong - give us a free action item*

I know a few demis will be able to do some of these, I'm looking for the abililty to do these things as any demi independent of native character. Again, make it really pricy and prohibitive, not necessarily permanent, but give us the options....

I think the option to have those for custom-map games would be a great idea, but for the normal/ ranked games the devs are intending for a fast gameplay that lasts under an hour, where one team will inevitably trump another team. Having all of those at once would really slow things down, as bulding blocks/defenses causes turtling.

So if they WERE to occur, any of those items would have to be map-specific. So in the Beta1 map might have a lane blockade but a different map would have light tower spawners.

I think buff and debuff totems are cool (call them "battle standards" maybe) as long as they don't shadow another buff/debuff aura demigod.

the creep spawn generals do they make units money tree's iunno maybe like umm.....ah.......right just a gol....k money tree it is

the wormhole is cool but iunno how that works

i think the totems are a must both debuff and buff to help ur creeps out

lane bridges and blockades are also really good give them set life and a time limit so its either break through or wait tillt hen can pass it but maybe only once a game cause that can easily change the course of the game with those

dragons would be wierd but i think they should have actual air untis cause those flying angels/harpies or whatever die even with melee atks i was wondering how the smash move kills them when they off the gorund and dont feel the vibration or any impact whatsoever unelss they happen to be under the hammer(squash) dragon id say would be torch bearer ice dragon/fire dragon 1 freezes enemies in path other burns maybe the Rook creates Stone soldiers or something that are summonable for a set time but drain mana for every second they alive and transfer dmg back to the rook cause he uses his body to produce them but they to make up for his low atk speed and clear the minatuars out altho that would make him a general in a way maybe like only 10 seconds they alive would be cool.

O yah, make the items unique and hard to find, make one random uber-item drop per game, make them custom unranked game options only, give them a 10 second proc, make them activateable only outside of a certain radius of the strongholds...Lots of ways to tweak them, I just want me a money tree-sprouting, dragon-summoning, bridge-building, wormhole-generating pieco o' bling

I would love to see some sweet artifacts (not armor by your base but from those little building in the middle). All of the ones up there are meh. How about some artifacts that are cheaper and easier to get that let you cast a spell or something that doesn't have a huge cooldown. Or how about an artifact that someones some basic creeps like archers, minotaurs and priests. I hope there is a larger variaty and not such a steep price on some of the new artifacts the devs come up with.

Not sure on the otehr things.

But on the subject, there does need to be more items that have cool effects and cool mods and not feel like you're playing a graphical spreadsheet with just +stats here and there.

That's sort of what I'm getting at, Innociv. I'm sure the devs are all over this, but there should be certain very rare items that change the state of play, not just affect my demigod...

I agree with innociv, more items with not just +(insert number and stat here) would be great. Items that can actually do some fun things not just buff your hero. All of those items are MEH

sorry to necro the thread, just got to reiterate how nice it would be to have a Free Action item. I don't mind stuns as long as they have counters...Right now any team that knows how to tandem-stun is going to win in a team game, and this is old news...
