For the General type characters, I'm having a hard time keeping track of what minions are in need of resummoning. Right now, when the action is heavy I just resummon in the middle of combat at some point because I assume that I've lost at least 2 of them somewhere in the mix-up. I don't really want to resummon before I'm down by 2, because the 40s cooldown will hurt too much when the next one falls, so I want to get the timing right on it. I'm thinking of some kind of graphical display of minions in play, maybe something like a bar with dots above the selection icon. Something where I can easily see that I've lost some, and some kind of indiciation of how many I've lost. Even a simple text counter would help.
Maybe even something like a ring that goes around the selection circle, where segments of the ring light up for an active minion, and stay dark for an empty slot.
The game I just played may have been a little extreme. There were 6 rooks in play, so that may have made things a little more difficult to see since a lot of occlusion going on.
