TB's Rain of Ice

This skill is hideously useless. The mana cost is INSANE and it doesn't even kill creeps at the first level. It does poor damage and the mana cost is just so owch. The Fire Blast skill is pretty much how this skill should be, so you really need to pick another role for Ice Rain besides AoE damage, because it simply gets dominated by Fire Blast and completely sucks.

I can say when playing Oak I absolutly LOATHE level 4.

But the mana cost is hidious.

Also, it's a bit of a waste of skill points going up that high, since the first levels are useless and the fourth only good against one DG? Wonderful.

I was just point it out man

It needs to be changed, I think 1A had everything about right with it, but all the HPs changed and such so the old get lvl 2 and your set doesnt work.

I'm all for just like HALFING the mana cost.

Damaging instead of killing the grunts is actually an advantage when having a general on your team - it allows them to kill grunts with 1 hit, which means they heal your team more often (Oak) or get more minions (Erebus).

This is not a skill to get at level 1. If you do so, expect t loose.

Mid game, the middle rnaks of this skill are AMAZINGLY useful. Its the best AOE which you can cast from safety (except for regulus snipes).

I do agree that in terms of flavor, I woudl prefer an ice storm that had a debuff as well/insead of a damage component.

 

While we are at it, can the effects of the torchbeaeres passive aura be a bit more wide range?

Thanks for the feedback DeadMG(and good to see you!)

Rain of Ice has been changed. It now costs drastically less mana, is better early on and less potent late game(IV is completely rude with the right build). Additionally, to help with clutter the spell is always one wave of ice now, regardless of level.
