Even if its a beta, stuff like this should be brought up. Otherwise sometimes obvious stuff gets passed on.

I would very much like to see the chat screen be on the same page as the "you can join these games" list. In some games, you can't see the chat while you're browsing a game. I hated that in SINS and I hated it in Starcraft and I hated it in Warcraft3 and I hated it in most games actually. Oh and while we're asking for a chat system, can we have it so you send the previous 10-15 most recent messages in non-passworded channels when we join it? So we can jump straight into the discussion or see what's up.

Aye I understand that.  If you haven't yet looked, I'd recommend reading Frogboy's beta thread, it lists a lot of "known issues" and things that are currently missing and or being worked on.  If I'm not mistaken the lack of a chat lobby was in there.

Either way, make sure to bear in mind that this is a pretty early beta, it's still missing quite a bit of stuff.
