Is the chance to get into the Beta permanently closed?

Sorry Im sure many forum noobs like me have been asking this but I would like to know if there will be any chances to get into the Beta and if so , then when? Im asking because Im considering pre-ordering the game but only see pre-ordering it beneficial if I can get into the Beta otherwise i will just buy the game on release.

Don't take this as gospel, but as far as I know you can still get into Beta 2. My friend pre-ordered last weekend and was still able to join. I haven't seen any announcements saying it's closed.

Keep in mind that even if Beta 2 were closed, there's still Beta 3 coming up

As recent as 2 days ago it was still open. You can email stardock sales or go to demigod irc during work hours and ask the devs if the beta is still open. I tried asking for you but it was too late:

Yeah, the new beta build will be out in the next few days. A friend & myself got in 2 days ago, but even if you cant now - you definitely will be able to with the new build next week.

Are you sure about that, Angstypanda? Usually just the release of major updates (Beta 1, Beta 2, Beta 3, etc) lets new people into the beta. "Minor" updates like Beta 2B (that is the update next week, I believe) usually don't count.
