Some of you may know the Warfare game mode from the FPS game Unreal Tournament 3 (and its predecessor Onslaught from UT2004). For those that don't, here's a brief summary: both teams control a Power Core, which are linked to each other through a series of Power Nodes. In order to win, you have to destroy the other team's Core. But you can only touch Nodes that are linked to a Node you control, so first you have to capture an unbroken chain of Nodes right up to the enemy's base. In UT3, there are also special unconnected Nodes, which provide a bonus if one team manages to control a node for long enough (usually one minute).
Now, I can see many of these elements in Demigod already. There are Citadels which must be destroyed. There are Flags that can be captured. The only thing that's missing is the chaining of Flags, and making them invulnerable if you don't control an adjacent one.
I'd love to see this sort of game mode in Demigod, whether official or modded. What say you?
