Demigod NAT Negotiation Problems

Friday, Jan 30th IRC

7:15 PM <Frogboy-home> Server has not been down at all.

7:16 PM <Frogboy-home> Impulse server has not been down for even a second.

7:16 PM <Frogboy-home> If you're logging in, Impulse server is up.

7:40 PM <Frogboy-home> Ok, the NAT negotiation is dying.

7:40 PM <Frogboy-home> NOT the Impulse Server.

7:42 PM <Frogboy-home> Cari is going to come in tomorrow to find out what the deal is.

7:42 PM <Frogboy-home> Something is jamming up the NAT negotiator.

7:42 PM <Frogboy-home> it ends up using all of a CPU.

7:42 PM <Frogboy-home> Easy to tell if it's hosed.

7:42 PM <Frogboy-home> if one of the CPUs is maxed, it's screwed.

Thanks for the update orlean.  This is annyoing for sure and the reason they don't like to release on fridays.  Wtill, I'm glad they did, this version is another solid step forward.

The NAT negotiator is still getting corrupted or something. They're working on it.

Good to hear. Will the rankings be active this build or will we wait until a further version to see that implemented? (IRC is down so I have to ask here)

Rankings won't start to happen until the Beta 3 series.  That's when balancing and such starts to get very serious.

The Beta 2 series is totally about the net connectivity and figuring out different ways to break it.
