Eh, I thought it was supposed to look like that (no selection aura). Running with 16Q AA myself, and I quite like it without the aura. I don't select anything else than my DG anyway, since minions aren't worth using (apart from with Oak and maybe Sedna, but I barely play those 2).
For Sedna users like myself, it's an extreme PITA when you're trying to heal someone and can't see who you're selecting when there's a huge battle going on.
I have to choose between ease of gameplay and jaggies that stab me in the eye.
