[Bug+Idea]Item effect Damage

If you chooose Items like Gloves of Fell-Darkur with damage add effect(which are added trough %)

If the % damage effect got triggered the damage numbers simply overlay whoch make your normal damage and the added damage unreadable

 

Hery my Idea

 

Whats about adding the % damage effect damage in red with a + sign behind the normal damage

 

I.e

Base Damage +[color=red]Effect Damage[/color]

300+[color=red]175[color]

(BB-codes r not workin anyway you know hat I mean )

 

whats your opinion about this?

maybe but please write more clearly your hard to undestand. I probobly shouldn't be saying that though because it makes me a huge hippocrite.

I think he is saying instead of overlaying damage to a target as it happens, you tack on the bonus item damage onto the original damage.

So instead of having 150pt damage for a melee hit plus 50pt damage for some item, it would be displayed as 150+50 so that you could tell how much damage your items were doing.

Here's a question: are item damage buffs considered spell damage?  As in - are they mitigated by armor?  If not, that might be one reason the devs did it this way...

You can always write in the stats window (and mini version) that unit does 10-15 damage + 40(+40 means from items).

 

Also would be nice if we could actually see the damage done by our minions (maybe different color than DG damage) so we know what they actually do.

I think it should be magic damage because if it´s normal damage with such an activate % rate it´s not bad but either not good

 

 

@all

I got another idea it isnt such beautiful but simply put a ! at the end of the number

 

I.E

300 (Normal DMG)

475! (Bosted By Fel-Darkur)
