Generals have been added to game to have minions and make game a bit more of rts but right now minions are just used for some extra dmg that i dont think it worths the money or skill points. My ideas are those
1)change them to have high dmg and low hp so they can be easily killed by demigods but if ignored they can posses a serious threat, so if anyone can see them he must kill them with no real problem
2)xp i have seen that somewhere and that will be very good, u can send them at the places that enemy creeps come and kill them and this will give u the 33% of normal expirience, that will make them more useful. also some gui adds that could be good is add upon the health bar miniom info, e.g. if there is a priest it will saw attack health and also how many u have if u there are warrior u can see them near to priest icon and so on. Also change the regroup button to folow/not follow for minions,
3)flag capture: give them the ability to capture flags if there are 6 at the flag place, if there are less u cant capture it. Also with the lower health enemy demigods need to have map awareness so they can see them and kill them easily with aoe spells, so if u ignore them its ur mistake
4)money making: some idea i just thought, at the mines(those things that give small amount of money continiously)u can send creeps outside the mine and put them to work, that will make them to create money faster in a good rate so it is worth the investment
5)totem of revelation should last longer and i mean a lot more than it is now, right now its only 30 second(i think) and it doesnt worth expect for mine finders, make them 3-4 mins that could give u map awareness in a very cheap price.
6)guard bulding: make creeps to be able to guard buildings, e.g command 4 warrior to move to a tower and protect it that would give minions an 50% more hp and they will attack anything that passes in a small radius
