minions from portal?skilless win?

i played a game today 2 tbone ice and 1 fire vs ub and QoT, we died some times(5-6) to ub and only managed to killed it 2-3times. we spended some money to buy only a helm and armor and after that only thing we were bying was faster minions upgrade and new minions, we had giant while they hadnt. They killed us a lot of time but the minons were so many, filled the whole screen and destroyed the towers, while the enemy team destroyed the towers with they demigods and some minions before. At the last last upgrades u dont need to do many things minions come so quick from portal and start fighting for the way to cititadel, that takes attention of the enemy demigods and if they go to kill minions they will never finish killing because minions come very fast. at that time other demigods can capture flags with no problem.

i dont like the idea that those portal minions are so powerful that can win almost alone at late game. one thing that could change it is to make portal minions stronger but come slower from the portal, that overwhelming isnt isnt so nice+adds lag

i disagree, if you can afford to buy priests, angels, catapuls, and then the giants, and the other team hasnt been able to buy the equivalent for their team, then what you are doing is only solidifying your win. i mean, if they had purchased the same as you, it wouldnt matter, since all portal minions(i think they are actually called "Grunts" in Demigod) cancel out and the skill of the Demigods would decide the flow of the battle.

so yeah, just my 2 cents

I like those minions. Just had a smiliar game. At the beginning the enemy team purchased one creep upgrade after an other, so their creeps pushed very hard. But then, after a little time, our team had enough farmed money to purchase some nice items and at this point we invested into the citadel for more creeps etc.

At the end, we´ve won

Mobs summoned through portals = Reinforcements

Also I think this just as just as it should be, It creates a ballance between upgrading your demigod in order to handle the other demigods while upgrading your reinforcements in order to take their base down.

Imo it sounds like, if you only had 2 items the whole time, that you played against two players who just havnt played too much or they would have eaten you as soon as you got out of base.

Usualy the pattern is to get 3-5 items (depending on demigod) and then start saving money for reinforcement upgrades. The exception being the 600gold +10 hp regen for your towers which should be bought as quickly as possible as your towers start taking damage.

it was a game vs iamkira, he bought wyvern gloves(dont remember name),warpstone surely but i dont know what else he could have bought, He killed me more times than i did, flags were changing hands continiously but i had only bought 1 helm and 1 1500 worth armor and some potions and teleport scrolls. He really couldnt do many thing since we were 2 tb and could 1 shot kill all his reinforcements letting ours move alone. At the end he couldnt stop them all. In the whole hour of the game he was slowly taking out our towers while we only destroyed the middle ones with million of creeps in some mins, Also why should grunts be first priority instead of equipment since more grunts>>>>> non aoe demigods that buy items
