I was able to play numerous times with the past versions of the beta, but with the most recent update it does not start at all.  There are no error messages, and no log created in the application folder.

I did have Logitech webcam drivers installed, but previously I could terminate the associated processes and Demigod would run.  That is no longer the case, and it doesn't start even with the Logitech drivers completely uninstalled.

I use Avast anti-virus and Comodo firewall, but again, it worked with the previous beta version without disabling either, and now it doesn't run even after turning both off.

Creative and Nvidia drivers are also up to date.
