I got to play 2 games yesterday. Both were before I updated the 1st , but maybe after my partners to the game updated, don't know. Just opened a custom game to play some AI's and surprised to find someone join my game.

Then I updated and couldn't play. Then updated again ( v . 34 , the latest ) and still can't play. However, the NAT process screen goes fuerther than it used to before the 2 updates. The Player Name screen gets populated most tries ( whereas it used to stay blank most of the tries before yesterday ), mostly with yellow names, sometimes a few green. Once I got to all-green list, but didn't get into the game.

The whole process takes long minutes. Some 2-5 minutes for one player to join.

I don't get why they didn't use the same system as GPGnet.

I could join games fast and fine during version 0.94.033, but after the small 0.95.033 update (March 19), I could not connect to join. The NAT Traversal phase got completed (all players green), but the Connecting to Players phase never completed.

Going back to the main lobby to rejoin did not work. Restarting the whole game program did not work.

I played into one of the two games _Mercury_ mentioned in his reply #3 (the one where he was surprised by my presence), before the update : joining his game was fast and seamless. But later on, during the evening, what he described happened : a sometimes long Nat process (since I was trying to join games with 5 or 6 humans), and "once I got to all-green list, I didn't get into the game".

Sorry for the double post. I was trying to join games yesterday evening, from 9 : 50 PM (New York time) to 10 : 35 PM. I was using the first update (0.95.033).

I was not aware, at that time, that a second update (0.95.034) either had already been released, or was about to be released. I left the game program around 10 : 36 PM.

I haven't tried joining games yet with the second March 19 update, but I have updated, a few minutes ago, to 0.95.034.

Edit: There's no available update for me, meaning that my connectivity issues were with the most recent update.

I agree with Possibly. The connections were much better in the last build then they are now.

Same thing on Beta 3E ( .036 , March 23 ). Still empty Player Name list, can't join a game, others can't join mine.

Pantheon doesn't work too, but I havn't tried pantheon since before .025 so I don't know if this change is recent. Once on pantheon try I got to a name list with 4 yellow names, but no further.

I am completely DMZ'ed and all other net functions work fine including GPGnet.
