- I think it would be nifty if some effects were added to the favor items when used by Demigods related to them.
For instance, an additional effect for Mard's Hammer when wielded by the Rook, and for Saam-el's Cloak when used by the Unclean Beast. These effects would make certain items more attractive to specific Demigods, since normally any Rook worth his stone wouldnt use Mard's Hammer anyway, and I think it'd be cool and strengthen the bonds to each character's history.
- On a side note, and I'm just throwing this one out there for discussion, but what if negative stats were added to normal items?
As it is, stacking items on your Demigod improves them, without exception. Some items are better then others, or more suitable, but any item is always better then an empty slot. If you add some negative effects, items actually shape a character, instead of just making him/her better. This would prevent, for instance, Regulus with 6k health and a DPS of 1000 (2 attacks of 500dmg every second) made invincible by Lifesteal soloing your citadel while your creeps are tearing apart their fortress. Yes, it happened.
Some ideas might be that items which increase your armor decrease your movement speed. Items that increase regen rates decrease max amounts of hp/mp by an appropriate amount. Items that increase your weapon damage decrease your armor, etc.
