[Bug] Wand of Speed interupts chasing Demigod

I noticed while playing that if I was giving chase to an enemy demigod as Regulus and I casted the wand of speed to increase the chance of catching up.  I suddenly stopped dead in my tracks.

 

This seems like the same issue we saw earlier where activating the wand of speed would stop you while running away from a chasing enemy demigod.

 

Can anyone confirm this occurs with other (melee) players?

Hi,

what u describe, happens often to me (playing UB) without wand of speed. My UB stopped chasing the opponends Demigod, and starts attacking some creeps without giving a command, or UB stays there doing nothing.

I tried it with wand of speed but was not reproducable for me (against AI)

i've seen the same thing, both when chasing and being chased.

it appears that when you use the item you current instruction (e.g. chase down and kill ) is forgotten. i believe this is actually what happens when you use most items/skills/favour (only exception that comes to mind is QoT stance change)

it's annoying that this happens but particularly with WoS as timing is everything.

i'm in the habit of reclicking as i'm pressing F#, though you still lose ~.5secs

This should be fixed. Why would you ever want to stop after casting a spell, especially after a wand of speed?
