Graphic glitches on Brothers

Specs:

E8500

GEgts250

XP home edition.

2 gb ram.

First: the game freezes once in a while, doesn't really hurt, it only happens once or twice, but still strange since my GPU can easily handle it.

Second: on the map Brothers(great map!) when I zoom to maximum the playingfield turns in to a mix of shadows, like fog of war, but everywhere.
