Whilst accessing Demigod WITHOUT a functional Internet connection, attempt to log in to your Impulse account via the Multiplayer>Internet>Login in-game menu selections. You'll eventually be greeted by an error message that claims that your username and/or password are invalid. This is despite the fact that the user's entered details could actually be completely and totally valid. It's the complete lack of an Internet connection that is the issue.

For the sake of a cushy, user-friendly interface, I would humbly suggest the implementation of an alternate "You moron! You forgot to plug in your Internet cable!" error message. This would prevent silly people (such as myself) from becoming frustrated over typing, and re-typing their login details into the neccessary fields.
