Chirmaya mods et al

Is the goal to prevent all LUA mods? Some of the ones made during beta were fab, the mana regen and hp regen numbers were just unbelievably helpful when buying +# regen and +%regen.

Makes me sad if there is not going to be anyway to include these. Personally some of these should be included default

Mods were disabled during the last few stages of the beta and it is unknown as to whether they will be able to run in the retail version right at the beginning. From what I have read, it seems that mods could be one of the features that they would like to support sometime after release, but we will just have to cross our fingers right now

But doesnt it give you an unfair advantage if you can see more stats than your enemy because of a mod? (if your playing online).

I know we want mods so we will be working with GPG to see the best way to have mods without it affecting multiplayer negatively.

Yah it does, thats why UI mods shouldn't be allowed but general mod support (mod being active for everyone then) would be great.

How does seeing your HP total constantly on your Hp bar with a % regen total give a major advantage? I could sit there with a calculator and work that out.... But thats lame.

However having a mod that shows what OTHER people are wearing on the ENEMY team is a mod that is bad.

Big difference between the 2.

Because it means you get to a view your % regen total in a split second, whereas I have to sit there with a calcuator to work it out which gives you an advantage.

I never said a "major" advantage but its still an advantage. And there could be lots of other u.i mods that give bigger advantages too.

I agree with Dalzk, Its not a big advantage, but it wouldnt be hard for people to make a mod where they can see the other teams health and mana. And that is substantially more unfair.
