i played early and it seemed stupid how no one even tlaks to you or ping the location.
is there a way there can be ingame chat or such?
juts like dawn of war 2 where you can talk ingame but atleast put a bind button or something lol .
its annoying to hear people breath.
yes, to in game chat... press enter, type, press enter
EDIT: i just re-read it, i think you mean a button for people to Talk to each other.. not chat.. my b.. lol, no i dont think that exists, though it would be nice...
in the meantime, use skype
how would i use skype? if im playing with random people?
oh i meant. ingame talk lol sorry
i seriously just talk to myself .. telling teammates to go left or defend right and its like they don't know how to type back lol.
well typing back takes time.... you connect to other people via skype.. like in the game lobby ask them for their skype names, add em and presto.. but id prefer something like Team Speak but in game...
blah hoppefully something good comes up
Are you sure you're not trying to talk to bots? Not sure if it's still this way in post-release, but in Beta, you'd get bot teammates/adversaries in Skirmish and Pantheon games. They'll commonly have silly internet names with numbers in 'em and such, just to fool you. The only way you can tell they're bots is by checking their ping. If it's 0, then it's a bot.
I agree, some of us might be abit nervous to speak to random people, or atleast have a good quality mic (ones that sound like alot of static).
I have not played demigod yet or seen much of the interface. But it still goes well with what I said, if it has a DoW2 chat system where your mic is always on. It needs a push to key.
We are planning to add VOIP to Impulse Reactor in the future.
Awesome
How far away is this Voip enabled future kryo?
yay! good to hear.
