Localization Issue? Game crash on load.

<Loc Engine??}User account does not have permission to run the game.

I'm running x86 vista, heres my dx diag and crash log file. I've got user account control disabled, with the only user account being my administrator one.

This is the error message that pops up: <Loc Engine??}User account does not have permission to run the game.

This happens when you try to just start the game? What if you right-click and choose 'Run as Admin'?

I'm having the same issue, I have x64 Vista Ultimate with UAC disabled and only 1 administrator account. Latest DirectX and Windows Updates.

 

Don't suppose a solution has been found to this?

WHY CAN'T I STILL PLAY THIS GAME? I HAVEN'T EVEN GOT A RESPONSE FROM SUPPORT WHILE EMAILING THEM DAYS AGO. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I DIDN'T EVEN GET CONFIRMATION THAT THEY'RE WORKING ON IT, JUST AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE THAT MY TICKETS BEEN RECEIVED. THANKS STARDOCK. THANKS GPG.

Found the problem for reference sake.

 

I vlite my vista install and removed the Game Explorere component, re-vlited with the Game Explorer component and the game runs fine now.

 

Of course it may have just been the re-install but I somewhat doubt it as all my programs are portabe except my AV which I tested/uninstalled and disabled services for first before attemping this other method.
