Hi, not sure if this is the right forum for this question, and I couldn't see another thread about it immediately, and it may be a silly question to start with, but:
Is it possible to transfer the game files between two computers so that you don't have to download it twice (or even once provided you purchase the game)? Basically, since we have this horrible things called download quotas here in Australia, and depending on your ISP you might not have a great many gigabytes per month you are permitted to download without being shaped back to a slower speed (or worse incurring additional fees)
With Steam, I know you can simply copy the game data across to the appropriate folder in your steam game folder, and when you login with your steam account, and 'install' the game, it simply runs through, finds the files are there and lets you play (having verified that the game is attached to your steam account)...
Is Impulse able to work in the same way? So... I copy the files across to somebody, they purchase demigod on impulse and 'install' it, Impulse figures out that the game is there, and voila, they get on the multiplayer and reg their serial no. etc...
