The strat is..... wait for it.... experience. As you can be told the perfect build but if the situation doesn't call for it, it won't matter. I suggest sticking with an assassin demi-god and just trying to figure out a build that works, for you and try it out. See where your weakness is and try to counter it. Say you're UB and you use venom spit alot, well you're going to have mana issues so you're going to want to get helms rather then boots or gloves first. Just focus on trying to build a strong demi-god first, then when you got a good grasp of that extra stuff becomes easier to figure out.

To be fair i was just going to horribly flame you (i come from Eve-Online) however, seems thats not the done thing here, so i'll try to help as much as possible.

Learning to play, i.e gaining experience is the best thing you can do, losing some games miserably will be the biggest eye openers, the way i use a flag lock is if there is a contest over say the midflag right at the start, and im outnumbered or solo and about to go down or run, the lock will give you 45 seconds to regroup, or respawn.

the best way to get ahead is voice communication (as it is with all MP games) - you will be able to create and execute strats on the go (something im used to with Eve + CEVO P css) but obviously, this isn't for some people.

I'm sure i'll get told "lol its only a game, why so SRS" - I'm sure the majority of posters here will agree its nice to win
