Wait, so you're saying she has more than 6 idol minions?  I.E. purchase, summon, sell, purchase, summon more?

Hum, if you can do that... that is very very bad.  Granted it should be expensive... unless doing so lets you use multiple of level 1 idols...

I've noticed myself that I ended up with more then 2 or a certain type of minion when I've sold a lower level idol to get a higher one, so I think the problem is the game doesn't check\desummon minions from a different level idol of the same type when you summon new ones from it. Uh, I'm pretty tired so my if that sentance didn't make any sense then try buying a level 1 Minotaur idol, summoning them, selling it and buying a level 2 idol and summoning again, should end up with two level 1 Minotaurs and two level 2 Minotaurs, which doesn't really seem to be what was intended.

That would be debilitatingly expensive. a general doing that consistantly is unlikely to have much gold for anything else, so just focus on the general and ignore the horde?

a Sedna General heals her minions, and with 8 priests as backup AND her own healing spells + armor.. i don't think you are going to have much luck bringing her down as simply as that.

Exactly the other generals aren't that bad but Sedna and her Aura regen + 8 Clerics makes her pack invincible.

UB with his corpse explosions and his plague, plus if you get items that include the cheap one that does 250 lightning damage to an area at 15% or something. Then get anything with cleaving. You just walk through waves of creeps and minions, especially if you have frenzy. You can easily get most of this by the time Sedna can afford all her minions and such. This is just one stratagy to counter minions I've found, but I'm sure most of the time you can do similar. For example regulus' angel form has a fairly strong splash as well. Minions are fairly easy to destory when you have splash/cleaving/aoe's. If you have a general on your team you can get them to distract the minions with theirs, then the assasin can go after the opposing general.

There is plenty of stratagy to take them down, the stats from pantheon prove it.

I made a thread about minion spam in the strategy section because unlike you, I do not view it as an exploit but rather a potential strat.  It's totally counterable.  If you can't use AoE, pick off the minions one at a time.  Every single one you kill is a potential loss.  It's also on the list of things to change so people won't be able to do it when they get around to patching gameplay.  What more do you want?  Idols are useless without this and probably useless with it against good players.  You remind me of those people in other games who try to claim moral superiority because they refuse to rush.  You aren't better than other people because you refuse to play the game to the limits of it's rules and expect others to do the same.  You're just snobbier.

It's not an exploit. It's a legit strategy. It has a distinct downside as well. What happens when Sedna dies? All the buying selling will make her lose significant amounts of gold that could otherwise be spent on armor/potions whatnot. Leave it as it is. If people start overabusing it effective strategies to counter will be developed and become commmon as well.

Sedna has no AE

lol a minion AE is not a DG AE.  TB AE and QOT AE vs a mininon AE is very very different and also requires level 15.

Why is it so high priority because one person says so?  If you upgraded your Demigod like you should have been doing, one spell can almost kill all her minions.  If you play it right, you can even kill her even with all her minions there. 

I did exactly such on Cat a day ago.  Sedna was attacking our tower with like 12 minions and herself, I headed over there and ice showered all of them, most but a few died.  I then froze what was left and ice struck her (forgive me for names) and she was down to a little below half health.  A teammate came up behind and attacked as well, I did another ice shower and she was dead and all her minions. 

I have NEVER had a problem with what you are talking about.  Nor ever seen a player using Sedna do it.  It is a complete waste of money.  Sedna needs more valuable items than to waste it on minions like that.
