Rook build - The Tank

Not bad, not bad at all. I'm not sure if I agree with the idea of spreading points into everything early on. As much as I enjoy the Boulder Roll, I'll tend to try to max Hammer or Towers first.

I usually get a point in bolder roll if I'm having trouble Hammer Slamming people. Otherwise I'll put it off for other stuff.

If you're only boulder rolling to stun and hammer slam, why upgrade it past rank 1?  Maybe invest in structural transfer.  It's a very nice ability to use on enemy towers.  Plus at level 2 you receive far more than an enemy tower can damage you, so consider it a free heal, as well as putting a hurting on an enemy tower.

I tend to play Rook in a similar fashion but instead of getting armor early on I invest in the gold upgrades at Cit and save for Bulwark of Ages and Belt of Giants, the cleave ability makes Rook dominate the creep/minions.

Well a point in God's Strength gives him a splash knockback on small units. That or he gets it some other way. 

Don't much like Rook for killing creeps tho, other chars are much better at it. QoT, Torchbearer, UB. Those are the 3 best.

I prefer to ignore towers of light and focus on spamming hammer on creep waves to gain an experience advantage.

With towers you can sit around at level 5 spamming them non-stop (ok not non-stop, but it's easy to maintain 3-4). These towers will own any creeps that get close. :/
