This is a good idea, after I had posted I had realized Reg has a counter all along, the final level of angelic wrath(i think?). Increases mana for skill by 50 percent for like 5 seconds.

As I said in my other thread, Erebus teleport + stun + bite = they win, always.

I played this game at a LAN about 5 games back to back a fortnight ago.  Erebus was in pretty much every game, and he had those three skills every game.  Your forumla did not hold true for all, nor even a majority of those games.

If you want to kill Erebus, just take rook and plant a bunch of towers. Very hard to survive against that, especially since Erebus needs to get close to do anything.

Or, stun, silence, or drain him. Many times has silence/drain caused me to either run away like a little girl, or just plain eat it.

Erebus isn't as overpowered as people think. You just got to work around his strengths. You can't attack him head on, because he'll outmaneauver you. You can't tank him, because he'll just keep draining. You need to put him in a position where getting close will hurt him more then you.

It will take at least a few weeks for the REAL balance issue to be sorted out, people will find different ways to battle and use abilities - it's a bit premature to be yelling nerf before that since there aren't really any glaring skill bugs.  (Apart from the interface issues of course)

I've had guys running this, It doesn't seem god-like to me.  It's not that hard to fubar Erebus with Regulus or Sedna I'd imagine.  With Reg you could mine him, mark him and speed stick out of there if need be, or force a retreat on his part and snipe him as he runs.

Well then.. how do you beat the opposite demigod ohh mighty forum troll.  Of course silence will beat him.. but not all demigods get silence.  When you have two demigods of equal level pounding on Lord Erebus and LE taking both down very very quickly, something is wrong.  It could be items, it could be other things... that is why I said "Please add your suggestions"  next time learn to read.  I've been analyzing every game I play and building strategies.  I've also played all the characters to see their strenghts and weaknesses as well as their recharge time for each skill.. this is why I even started this thread.  The damn bite needs to be either reduced a bit in health transfer or increased in cooling just slightly.. not much but enough to make erebus run if two demigods are around.

Two DG's of equal level on Erebus should be able to bring him down quite easily unless they don't know what they are doing.  Also every class has different skills and some will be able to kill others easier, not every class is equal against other classes.

That is why it's a team game.

Have you played Erebus? Think you should, learn his weakness and anticipate his moves when you play vs him.

Erebus has a distinct advantage at level 1 vs Regulus (or any other demigod really) because he can get 2 bites in. That's 600 extra damage and 600 extra health -- a 1200 damage gap that the other player has to close. Level 1 isn't a very fair comparison.

Thats ENTIRELY the problem. At level 1 the Erebus through his or her early kills gets enough gold and levels to always have a leg up on their opponents. At the very least it forces your opponents to retreat and allows you to hold key flags which again gives you the advantage. If anything needs to be perfectly balanced it is level 1 vs level 1.
