Priests' healing abilities

Anyone know whether or not Priests heal after you've told them to attack a specific target? Do they stop and heal now and then or do they just attack the thing until they die?

Ok my guess goes like this;

If you tell them to attack by right clicking, yes they will pew pew until there target is dead.

If they attack auto closest target, they will heal you as you have not told them to just keep attacking one person.

You know, I've noticed that happen as well. If they aren't performing any action you explicitly tell them (including moving, sometimes), they will auto-heal you every 8 seconds. However, move them around and they won't even toss you a heal. This really sucks when you're trying to run away; make sure to stop your priests every now and then so they can keep you topped up.

Yeah, that is how I thought it was working, but I'm not playing enough to just test it myself so I thought I'd bring it up.

Since there is no command for "target all but priests" it makes making them heal a real pain. I think it would be worth suggesting it as a change once they're done with the multiplayer, either to the way they heal or to the control scheme for minions.

If you select them adn right click they seem to heal.

Their heal is also instant. They'll do it while attack or moving.

They prioritize healing demigods.

Whenever they heal a unit, it gets an invisible debuff that makes it so other priests can't heal that target for 10 seconds or something.
