Gold and Exp farming

Would like more information..

Hello everyone.

I'm a long time DotA fan, and naturally, I love Demigod and was anticipating it for a while. That being said, I'm not sure of the mechanics behind gold and exp gain.

In Dota, you obtained Gold per second, but you also got Gold for getting the last hit on creep kills.

Is the same true in Demigod?

As for experience, I know that you can exp just for being in the vicinity of creep deaths, but do you get MORE exp for getting the last blow on creeps as well?

Any help on these two questions are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You accrue gold per second based on the number of gold mines your team controls plus any gold upgrades purchased at the Citadel.

If you, or your minions do at least 25% damage to a creep you will get gold for the kill, regardless of your position on the map.

If you are within 30 yards of any dying creep you will get exp for the kill weather you did a killing blow or not. Exp does not vary/scale - it is based solely on the level/type of the creep. However, if you kill a demigod you can get exp for the kill beyond the 30 yards as long as you have done sufficient damage.

Bang on. Thats exactly how it works. There is no last hitting in Demigod. The general rule is if you participate in the kill (creep or demigod, at least 25% of the health of the creature) you will be credited with gold (4 gold to be exact) when it dies. As long as you are within 30 yards (twice the range a blink teleport can move you, fairly large) of a creep dying, you will gain experience.

The only other thing I can add is that minions of generals (summoned by skills or idols) do not give gold or XP.

Technically there is last hitting for DG kills. Sometimes I'm that prick who pops out of nowhere and steals your kill at the last minute, but hey, that's just how I roll.

Lol. Dude, thats kill stealing, not last hitting

Of course, a lot of times it is hard to tell whether or not you are 'stealing a kill' rather than 'preventing them from finishing their robust health potion'. In most cases, overkill is acceptable.
