These ideas were originally PMd to Frogboy directly (stupid, I know). So I've just cut-and-paste-winned them here and added the parts with italics so everyone can feel free to comment/flame them.
UI - The UI in Demigod is quite basic, but this becomes worse when playing the Generals. Trying to micromanage summoned units without an easy way to see how many you actually have selected, how many you even own, and what their current state it is (IE via portraits in a WC3/Standard RTS style) is a little insane.
Please implement a portrait based UI (WC3 or Company of Heroes style) to keep track of all your units.
Minimap - Its not helped by the fact that the minimap is more or less useless, in DOTA, the minimap is a massive part of the gameplay, using it to keep track of the flow of battle, send pings and in turn be able to instantly move the camera to those pings is essential. In Demigod, its usually hard to tell whats going on, and I imagine most players barely glance at it.
Please make Demigod Icons, pings and flags more bold/clear on the minimap. Additionally, being able to scroll to locations by click on the map itself wouldn't hurt.
Where is everyone? - In a game thats more or less based around working as a team, its often difficult to keep track of where your team is, especially when physically larger reinforcements come into play, it can be a nightmare just finding out where everyone is. This probably ties in to the minimap, but I think some kind of 'highlight Demigods' button would be handy, just something that puts a brightly coloured ring around your team mates so that you can quickly pick them out in a chaotic battle.
Please implement a feature to highlight your teams demigods, arrows above them, circles around them anything to make them stand out from the bis mess that often occurs in battles.
High Ping? - Map Pings also play a vital part in games of this nature, and its unfortunate that Pinging in Demigod is about as effective at getting your teammates attention as lightly blowing on the moniter.
We need a big, loud ping that lasts more than half a second and preferably places some kind of marker in the actual game world aswell as just the minimap.
