I was hosting a Custom Game last night in version 1.00.0105, and the first guy that connected had a networking problem that resulted in any following players coming failing to join the game. He and I had a perfectly fine connection both ways between us (we ended up playing a game), but when someone else would try to connect the status panel would show a connection from me and the poison player to the new player, and from the new player to me, but the new player could not connect to the poison one. (I had previously successfully hosted games with several other players. This behavior with that specific poison player repeated several times, including after recreating the game.)
While the proxy changes may fix this, allowing players with this type of problem to communicate through a different path to newly arriving non-hosting players, it would be good if there was some display that showed some kind of historical information about each players communications connections. (Number of successful vs failed attempts to reach players and the host directly, packet loss %s, historical information about communication success with that player (or IP address?) in previous games, longest duration while attempting communcations that it has been unresponsive, etc.
Because of this the players trying to join never showed up in the game display, and I couldn't communicate with them, which is a different annoying problem.
