UB is extremely dangerous if he gets enough gold. Once he's strong enough that he can just run up to you and attack you without worrying about towers or other demigods supporting you, the game is pretty much over since he can just run up and kill you with impunity. Also, teleport is a poor idea against most beasts, because even one level in foul grasp can negate it.
Basically, the moral of the story is that if you allow the other team to get a decisive gold advantage, you'll be hard pressed to win. The Unclean Beast wins through demigod kills, which can seem particularly cheap, but it may just be a symptom of your team dying a lot early on.
I had the same problem with an Erebus last night. However, my allies were both 0-4 when he was doing this, and most of those kills were made by Erebus. So that's like 8000 gold he has that I do not. Is it any surprise he can walk right up to me and just slaughter me and there's nothing I can do about it?
