When you die, you should respawn where you died as a ghost. When your a ghost you can move around ilke normal but only do one damage, and have infinite life.
-Heart of life problem solved- -boring death screen solved-
Haha. Nice idea, but I think instead of respawning where you die, you respawn back at your base as a ghost and are only limited to walking around base... can't do damage or anything, but can stock up on supplies, check items, and check citadel instead of waiting at that dreaded screen of death with nothing to do.
Problem with being able to spawn where you died is: you could walk around scouting as a ghost, and just simply report whats going on to your teammates, which isn't really how the game was ment to be although it would be cool nonetheless.
I guess scouting for regulus would be the only downside to it, but really he gets that at lvl 5. Scouting doesnt really play a huge part in this game bc you have to be able to do something about it in the first place.
Yah i like your idea too, just something, anything but... 29....28....27.....26.....25.....24....23....CITADEL UNDER ATTACK... 22....21.....20..... GODLIKE....19.....18.....17....16.....15....DOUBLE SMITE....14....13....12....11....10...."How do i type to all?"....9....8...7....6.....5.....4....3....2.....(zergling squishy sound)....1
Good idea....my tweaks to it
-Ghost as you said...invincible
-No damage can be dealt while in ghost form, not even 1
-The screen is still dulled out
-In order to revive you must float back to the Stone that heals you IN your base (no one elses)
-Option that can be disabled
-Oh and all ghosts travel at 5.0 speed
Thoughts?
Don't make it a corpse run. That would be annoying. I'd rather just wait.
Anything to stop the monotony of sitting there in ghost jail wishing you could upgrade your troops.
The Death Penalty is to teach you not to die?
True true bro haha
lmao ghost jail. That made me lol for some reason.
Actually that sounds fair. Kinda like how you have to walk to your corpse in WoW, that would work well. However, corpses that are further away have a longer walk, and corpse that are closer have a shorter walk. Thats debatable whether its a good thing or not. I can't really think right now, so I won't comment or form an opinion at the moment.
i think the 30 second wait is good because if you are having a tough game and manage to kill that annoying sedena its a nice reward to have that 30 sec free of her damn HoT aura.(one example). i do like the idea of being able to spend gold at your citadel and item shop and maybe the citadel upgrades should not take affect just appear purchased until you respawn then that would free up the living time of shoping and still incur the penalty of not being able to help your team while your DEAD!
Thanks doubt it'll ever be implemented but it would a nice option/feature to add on in the options screen in the Hosting Screen...even though many people don't even know what is actaully in that screen

Yah so when you die, you spawn as a free roaming ghost that can purchase things at the shops, citadel. You could also invest in talent points, that sounds like the best solution so far. I do not like the corpse run idea, you should just spawn at your citadel.
When your time is up, your not a ghost anymore, there shouldnt be a button to click. Some ppl might not ever click the button.
I think you should just be able to buy things, and auto-rez when your ghost time is up.
glad to be appreciated
hahah, ty for making my morning
