Flag or citadel bonus for increasing troop wave spawn time?

Has anyone suggested this?


I always thought it would be a cool idea to have a bonus where your troop waves spawn X% faster.  Through the citadel it could be a continuous upgrade, such as 5% for level 1, 10% for level 2, and so on.  Or if it was controlled by a territory flag it could be a flat 10 or 20%.

 

Thoughts?

There's two sides to this. If you spawn faster than your opponent then you are feeding them extra experience. However, late game it could actually be useful. So if this was like a lvl 7-10 citadel upgrade it might be pretty sweet.

I personally think it'd likely get ignored because it'd be seen as feeding the other team. It's a nice idea, though.

This was originally in the beta in place of the experience bonus at the citadel.  This was replaced due to the arguement that you were feeding experience.  It basically made it a late game insta-win weapon or was never used.

I believe this is a bad idea for the aforementioned reasons plus there is some strategy in being able to see your creep wave and knowing where the enemy creep wave will be through the fog of war.  I think you could get a similar effect without the problems by buffing the +dmg/armor upgrades or adding more of those.
