but since i cant complain, this game is the best, it's super balanced and the multiplayer functionality works reall good!
It's actually very balanced. However, there are MANY factors which IMBALANCE a situation, that you have not considered.
1) First, the demigod you played, and the build you played. There are certain builds for different demigods that Torch Bearer can easily destroy. On the latter side, there are demigod builds that thrash Torch Bearer. As we all know, you have played every DG, know every strategy inside out and have thoroughly played and tested this to find how to beat torch bearer. (lol)
2) Micro-management. Probably a big one. The demigod that can perform the most tasks in smallest amount of time, farm most efficiently, and spend as little trips outside of lanes to reduce lost XP/gold, will win. This comes down further into a mathematic grind; Knowing your opponents level, his gear, what hes capable of, and what to expect. Then, knowing yourself, what you're capable of. Then mathematics kicks in, knowing what level nukes he has, how much damage they do, how much damage you do, and knowing how much HP you need to kill him without getting killed by any auto-attack/skill. You have to account for everything. Then, knowing when NOT to fight based off of this information, as to not feed.
3) Third, and essential to demigod, TEAMWORK. This is a MULTI-PLAYER GAME, revolving around TEAM WORK. If your team sucks (and this part is OUT of your control), then you will PROBABLY lose. A SUPERIOR team, will beat an INFERIOR team. You completely neglect to point out your teammates, their teammates, and how their mistakes can topple upon yours, to exponentially increase the failure of your loss. If you're playing with only yourself in mind, and the most farmed demigod from the other team, YOU FAIL. If you play 1v1, it really cycles back to the multi-player game argument, and the first two points; How your build counters theirs, along with how well you micro-manage.
4) Fourth, probably most importantl as well, SKILL. Yeah, that's right. If your opponent knows the game better than you, outplays you, out-micromanages you, plays to out-gear your demigod based on counter tactics, and has a superior team, YOU WILL HAVE A TENDENCY TO LOSE. CRY MORE.
5) Just for added clarification, all of your conclusions are based upon YOUR experiences against a torch bearer. Not a COMPLETELY balanced situation accounting for ALL of the above said factors, just your unorganized experiences of losing. My experiences differ. I know how to fight a torch bearer. I can micro-manage properly. I never tolerate pugs. I can say i'm pretty decent at this game. I don't have any significant problems against torch bearer, even with classes that normally are difficult to play against him with.
tl;dr - you suck.
